Super Nerd Alert!

Jeremy: "Hi my name is Jeremy and I am a nerd. I have been a nerd almost all my life."

Others: "Hi Jeremy."

Jeremy: "I admit that I have a problem. Last night I spent an unlawful amount of time playing World of Warcraft. With my guildmates we assulted the firey caverns of Molten Core, a place of peril and doom.

"We started in the Badlands outpost and mounted up, ready to arrive at the Core as a team in case we needed to defend ourselves.

"We rode into the Core. Some of the bosses had already been cleared, thus allowing us easy passage to the others. My guild, the Warriors of Death, had defeated them yesterday. They had also used a special water to put out the runes of flame that would open the gates to Ragnaros, the ruler of the Core.

"Our first challenge was the Baron Geddon, a towering fire elemental who occasionally turned people into living bombs of fire.

"Here you can see Leadhoof and myself (Quetzalcoatl) dancing on the only thing left of the Baron: his bracers.

"We pressed on and fought Shazzrah. I am unsure as to what race of beings Shazzrah is a part of. A serpentine body with armys, covered in spines and privy to magnificent power. Clearly a being that has long since lost it's place on this earth.

"Again I dance on the corpse of our foe.

"Our next battle was with Sulfuron.

"I would write something in honor of this battle, but it was so incredibly easy that there isn't much to say. The Warriors of Death made quick work of Sulfuron.

"The next battle was with Golemagg the Incinerator. Pictures do no justice to the size of this giant.

"I'm a distance away and on top of a hill so you don't get a good idea of how large Golemagg is. Still he went down relatively easily:

"The Warriors of Death have set up a system in which players get loot (treasure) based on how often they play. Being a beginner with this system I automatically have 50 points. Golemagg happened to have a breastplate that I wanted. Which would replace the very embarrasing piece that I am wearing now. You use points to bid on an item. As I had 50 I bid them all, then you make a roll based on how many points you bid. Aracon had over 200 points and bid 175 on a sword. Arcon then rolls out of 175 (like rolling a 175 sided dice, the game randomizes your roll our of the number). Aracon rolled 175/175 and won the sword, using up the points he had used to bid on the item. If you bid and lost you get to keep your points. Like Aracon I rolled the highest I could 50/50 (all of my points). Alas someone bid 65 and rolled 58/65. I cried, but it just wasn't meant to be.

"We pressed on to battle Majordomo Executus. He looks much like Shazzrah and Sulfuron, only darker and larger (you'd think Blizzard would have spent more time on making bosses look different in the end game dungeons...). Majordomo is surrounded by four elite guard and four priest guards that look like smaller versions of him.

"The battle went well for awhile but we were missing something critical. We tried three times. Each time we defeated a few of the guards but nothing more. Our warriors and priests were dying too quickly, Majordomo's guards and priest kept getting loose and wreaking havoc.

"It was one in the morning, and for othes closer to two or three. It was time to stop and think of what we could do differently next time. Despite Majordomo putting a stop to the fun I had an excellent time. We only had one problem at the beginning with some giants but we didn't have any with the bosses. Lots of amazing loot was found and in the end I realized how awesome a raid can be with the right people. Sometime soon Majordomo will lie broken at our feet. When he does we will take on Ragnaros, elemental old god of fire and potentially the hardest fight in the entire game. I can only imagine taking him down. We'll need the best of everything before we attempt to face him. So I look forward to hunting down my Beaststalker's Armor. Someday I will put together the stronger Giantstalker's Armor found in the Core, but I'll have to wait and see how lucky I am with that.

"Until next time!"
