1GB? Sounds good to me!
I might have said something about daily updates - I didn't take into account that I am indeed a lazy ass at the moment. Any rhythm that I had to my life has been disrupted by working an hourly job and having no other commitments to concern myself over. Granted that is no excuse, but I suddenly realize the necessity of getting into some kind of pattern. I have set two different alarms in my apartment now. This is another attempt to get up in the morning to run.
I used to think that my willpower alone would allow me to follow through with any plan that I made. The harsh reality is that it is also my own willpower that drags me down.
Example: It is 5 am and my radio kicks on to some god aweful morning show (an attempt to make me get up and turn it off). I get up and turn the alarm off and lay back down, thinking I'll just lay here for a bit. I'll wake up hours later and by then it is far too hot outside to attempt a run. Granted 5 am might be too early a time to be getting up, but I'm going to need to get used to it when I go back to grad school this fall. 5 am allows me plenty of time to do any sort of workout and have enough time to get ready for the day.
School actually starts this coming Monday. Needless to say I'm scared, this is what I want to do but I have no room at all to mess up. My life must become school-homework-run-work (in that order of importance). Becky would naturally be before all of that but she is in Washington DC, or will be very soon (I miss her so).
Enough of my bad attitude though.
I recieved an odd package in the mail - that of a one gigabyte RAM chip for my laptop. I have to be honest, I got it merely to make WoW run better - and it was worth it. I have never really gone to great lengths to play a game or make the experience better, but this time I did. When I flew over coastlines from one city to the other I could see into the water where sunken ships lay at the bottom. When I was a ghost I could see through myself. Everything looked better and brighter. I felt a sensation of vertigo when I played.
But more importantly than this new chip is that Becky will be playing WoW soon. Few people are as lucky as me to have a girl that not only understands the things you do but also takes interest in them. Now I'll have to convince my friends to play on the old server again too or potentially join a small guild.
